Shou Sugi Ban Nagano Oak European Engineered Oak

  •  Shou Sugi Ban: A Traditional Japanese Technique Reimagined

At Elesco, we've modernized the Shou Sugi Ban method to create a distinctive flooring collection. This process involves burning oak planks and heavy brushing to accentuate the natural grain and texture, especially in rustic grade planks. The knots and imperfections in these planks provide an authentic, bold appearance that perfectly complements the charred finish.

We offer Shou Sugi Ban on any of our premium base products from the Unfinished Cathedral, Riva, Space, and Trend collections, enhancing their elegance and character.
